This issue highlights a number of exciting developments across our community, including:
- A featured interview with Dr. Peggy Giordano, reflecting on her influential career and offering thoughtful insights on expanding the scope of life-course criminology beyond crime-focused frameworks
- New research in the DLC Research Corner, examining how prosocial relationships shape employment outcomes among justice-involved emerging adults
- A call for nominations for DLC Awards (deadline: May 15, 2026), including two new awards: the Innovation Award and the Student Paper Award
- Opportunities to contribute to the newsletter and get more involved in the Division
- Updates from the Journal of Developmental and Life-Course Criminology, including recent publications and two special issue calls (deadline: May 1, 2026)
The newsletter also celebrates the successes of our members, including award winners and photo highlights from ASC 2025, and introduces members of the DLC leadership team.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our new Newsletter Editor, Sarah Banks, for her excellent work on this issue. We are grateful for her efforts in bringing this newsletter together!
